Definition of: Design-Build \di-zīn bild\
To have a single entity responsible for the design and construction processes, resulting in reduced time, cost savings, and increased accountability from the design-build contractor. By working with one source, there is no longer the possibility of “finger pointing” between the design firm and the construction contractor; thus the design-build company must take responsibility and ensure that everything is done right, on time and under budget.
We at EDB believe that the design and construction processes are so interconnected that it is essential to bring the two together under one roof. And that is exactly what we do. This gives us a better ability to adapt and meet the needs of our demanding clients and streamline the entire process.
